Slammin’ 7s Slot Review

We really had no idea what to imagine when we first heard about the Slammin’ 7s video slot game that was released by iSoftBet casino software in the second half of 2016 – the name of the game is certainly not giving anything away, is it? It did get us interested, however, so we’ve decided to give the game a closer look in a full-fledged review. And the good news? The slot is actually surprisingly exciting!

Theme and Graphics

Now – Slammin’ 7s might be an exciting slot, but it doesn’t have much going for it in terms of themes. Put simply, it doesn’t even have one, as it’s sticking to the oldest of traditions instead! The game’s symbols therefore include a fairly boring assortment of stuff, with the titular 7s playing the main role. In fact, the 7s are the most prominent symbols of them all, as they come in plenty of colours and flavours.

In any case, the technical side of things is very modern and so is the music. It’s some sort of chilly futuristic techno – if that makes sense – and it’s very fitting in the context of the entire slot

Gameplay

Once you get a grip on it, you’ll realize that there are essentially three main gameplay features in Slammin’ 7s – and the first one of them is the 27 Ways to Win feature.

There are no winning paylines as such – you just need to get matching symbols on each reel to make a winning combination. The number of winning combinations – or Ways – is then multiplied by the value of the given symbols to give you the actual payout.

Next, there are the so-called modifiers that are displayed on the right-hand side of the playing field. These are activated whenever you land a winning combination and there are three different things they can do. Firstly, there are multiplier symbols that will multiply your winnings by 2, 5 or 10. Secondly, there are additive symbols that will add a certain amount of coins to the final payout. Finally, there are respin symbols that will give you up to five free respins – and they come with the nice little perk of all wins being doubled during them.

To round things off, there’s also the Jackpot feature that can give you a massive payout of 25000 – or 50000 if it’s triggered during respins – coins. It’s not really a special feature as such, it’s simply the best possible combination of symbols you can get (three blue Slammin’ 7s on the main reels, a +500 additive symbol and a x10 multiplier symbol).

Technicalities

It’s really hard to describe the playing field on which Slammin’ 7s takes place, as it actually has two separate parts. The first one is a typical 3×3 deal that displays a combination of symbols, while the second one has two places that display random modifiers (all of which we’ve described in the gameplay section) that can affect all winning paylines. This might look awkward when we put it like this, but don’t worry – it’s all quite elegant when things start moving!

Although the game isn’t using traditional paylines, there are 27 Ways to Win and that number is fixed, so you can use only a single slider in order to adjust your desired betting level. Thankfully, there are enough options to choose from – the minimum stake stands at just €0.50, but high rollers can play for as much as €50.

The theoretical return to player (RTP) of Slammin’ 7s is 96.63%.

Summary

Although Slammin’ 7s doesn’t have an epic theme to fall in love with, it’s an excellent game that we can recommend to all players that are already bored by all those slots that play it all by the book. After all, there is some truly innovative gameplay hidden under the facade here and that’s something that you don’t see all that often. And yeah – the modern audiovisuals will actually let you forget about there not being any particular theme as soon as you press the Spin button.

There’s just no going around it – Slammin’ 7s is one of the best games slot gaming received in 2016 and you’ll be missing out on quite a bit if you don’t give it a go!

Where to Play

Slammin’ 7s comes from iSoftBet, a fairly young company that’s yet to record a major breakthrough in terms of making its games available at a massive number of online casinos. That’s actually a shame, as iSoftBet do have quite a few gems in their repertoire, but the bottom line is that there’s a good chance that you don’t have a casino that hosts Slammin’ 7s in your arsenal just yet.

There are a few places that you could possibly head to, but none of them is as good as the SlotsMillion online casino. Why? First of all, SlotsMillion have what’s possibly the biggest slots repertoire out there. It had almost 1300 unique games at the time of writing and the contracts the casino has with tens of games developers ensure that the number is growing at a very constant pace.

Secondly, SlotsMillion are one of the few online casinos that have already managed to design a VR environment in which you can enjoy your favourite slot games, which makes them the ideal selection for those of you who have a VR headset lying around.

Finally, there are also many exciting bonuses and promotions on offer at all times, with some of them offering huge amounts of free spins. And the price that you have to pay for all this? Well, the only thing that we can possibly mention here is the lack of classic games like blackjack and roulette.
