Cabaret Club Casino Review

Although Cabaret Club aren’t particularly well-known thanks to their subdued marketing activities, it’s clear that they’re in it for the long haul – and that’s the one thing that we’re looking for first and foremost when choosing online casinos to review. Is this one any good, however? Read on to find out!

About Cabaret Club Casino

Cabaret Club are still relatively new, having been founded back in 2009. That doesn’t take anything away from their trustworthiness, however, as they’re currently backed by a very large group that has more than enough finances to keep the entire operation afloat.

At the time of writing, the online casino was regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority.

Games Selection

Nowadays, online casinos tend to go for more than just a single games developer whenever they’re putting their games arsenals together, but Cabaret Club are intent on keeping things incredibly simple, with Microgaming being their go-to studio. Those guys are a perfectly viable choice, as they’ve been around for a very long time and as they have a very big repertoire of games that they can provide to casinos of all shapes and sizes, so it’s basically impossible to criticize Cabaret Club for deciding to go with them.

With hundreds of unique slot games on offer, you’re just never going to run out of things to play – unless you’ve already spent a lot of time at another Microgaming-powered casino, that is. All the chart-toppers – including Thunderstruck II and Immortal Romance – are present, as are all those smaller Microgaming slots that are ideal for the odd coffee break or two. There’s a lot to be liked here even if you’re one of those players that enjoy slots with big progressive jackpots, with Major Millions and Mega Moolah headlining the range of games that can change your life with a single spin.

Finally, we should add that there’s no shortage of classic table and card games either, although – disappointingly – there were no live casino tables to be found anywhere at the time of writing. Will Cabaret Club add them somewhere down the line? Chances are that they will, but we don’t believe that it’s going to be anytime soon.

Bonuses and Promotions

All new players will be welcomed with a package that can give them up to $600 for free and that’s a number most of them simply won’t be able to ignore, but there isn’t much to be enjoyed after that apart from the loyalty club.

Thankfully, that feature does come with multiple tiers that allow all kinds of players to get nice bonuses and rewards, but things aren’t all that incredible until you get to the highest VIP tiers that come with exclusive gifts and rewards.

Mobile Casino

The entire online casino industry might be moving towards mobile gaming, but Cabaret Club are yet to make the big jump, with their mobile functionality staying relatively limited. There are no dedicated mobile apps to speak about, so players wanting to enjoy the casino on the go will have to do with an optimized mobile website.

Odds and Ends

Although we suppose that the website design is supposed to look modern and dynamic, our opinion is that it’s just one big mess that isn’t going to impress or even satisfy anyone. You can find your way around relatively easily, but that’s about it as far as the positives are concerned.

Thankfully, there are no such problems to be found in the banking section, with Cabaret Club covering plenty of options – both major and minor – for deposits and withdrawals.

The casino’s customer support can be most conveniently reached by the live chat button, but there are also dedicated phone numbers (some of which are toll-free) available to players that want to get their questions answered that way.

Accepted Countries/Currencies

The main website of the casino is currently available in nine different languages, which suggest an intent to attract big audiences, but the various regulations don’t allow Cabaret Club to accept as many players as they would like to. At the time of writing, the list of restricted territories included not only the United States, but also Belgium, Denmark, France, Romania, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom.

As far as currencies are concerned, players can choose from the likes of US dollars, Canadian dollars and Euros when making a new account.

The deposit limit of $10.00 applies to all available payment options, which is not too high, especially as they offer some region specific options such as iDebit for casino deposits.

The Minuses

While there are plenty of small minuses that we could mention in connection with the Cabaret Club online casino, we guess that they all pretty much boil down to the seemingly old-school mentality of the guys that are running the show. We understand that Cabaret Club have a tradition to be proud of, but we believe that it’s already high time for them to abandon their old website design and re-build it all once again.

There might not be anything incredibly wrong with it, but it looks incredibly outdated and that isn’t just our subjective feeling – even some of the texts and instructions that you can find on the casino’s website don’t match the reality. We’re sure that they did at some point, but the website is simply yet to catch up with the innovations that have been implemented elsewhere.

The bottom line is that the outdated design means that Cabaret Club simply can’t make a great first impression – and that’s a huge problem considering that there are hundreds of online casinos competing for one’s attention nowadays.

All in all, we’ve got very mixed feelings about Cabaret Club and we’re actually also a bit concerned about the casino’s future. There’s clearly a bit of weight thrown behind it, but the entire package seems to be frozen in the past a bit and that’s not a good sign for those who’re looking for a casino that would last them for more than just a few months. Cabaret Club do get the fundamentals just right, but the lack of things like dedicated mobile apps and live casino tables means that those who aren’t complete newcomers won’t fancy staying at these guys. You might want to give them a go if you’re looking for something basic that also comes with a nice bonus, but that’s about it unfortunately.
